I noticed that I had been seeing a resurgence of people viewing a couple of my posts from February and July of 2008 today.
Did a little background looking to see why anyone (few hundred of you) even wanted to see those articles.
Low and behold I find this Fox News article: http://www.myfoxny.com/dpp/your_money/crash-affects-millions-of-microsoft-users-20110909-ncx
Please note, as of right now, the report says Microsoft’s statement is that this only affects it’s European and Asian-Pacific clients.
As Fox points out there is some speculation that this incident might be related to the unfortunate power outages that happened on Thursday on the Pacific Southwest. For more information on that see this AP article: http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5j1e9mcmNJJis1Gml177NN7dDHadw?docId=68cd35d6f853400bb68fe1749a4f1569
Please feel free to reply if you have anything you want to add … are you still seeing this issue where you are?
