Here’s what you’ll need: double sided pie crust, see here 1 cup sugar 3 Tbsp flour 1/8 tsp salt 3 tsp of fresh fruit (might I suggest the earlier mentioned strawberries) 2 cups rhubarb, diced 1 Tbsp butter 1/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup of milk (I use 2% but recommend whole) Now to pull it all together: Combine sugar, flour, salt, fruit, and rhubarb stirring well to coat all. Fruit Salsa

    January 18, 2013 /

A get together/party favorite has become the fruit salsa I make from time to time.  Before I forget I will make sure to add a section on how to make your own “chips” to go with it as well.  You can play with a twist by adding a teaspoon of cinnamon if you so desire into the fruit salsa but the “chips” usually have enough cinnamon on them. What you’ll need to get started:2 kiwi’s2 Red Delicious Apples8 ounces red raspberries1lb strawberries2 Tablespoons white sugar1 Tablespoon brown sugar3 Tablespoons fruit preserves (I use the less sugar raspberry preserves myself)Now to put it all together:Peel and dice the kiwis and apples.Put all…
