Instructions
  1. First thing I like to do is make sure I can find my medium saucepan
  2. Peel, core, and shred 4 apples. If you don’t have a food processor, slice the apples in to pieces half the width of a finger.
  3. Add 1/2 cup water to the mediums saucepan and place shredded apples in the saucepan.
  4. Spread on the 3 tablespoons ground cinnamon, stirring to combine with apples. Bring bring saucepan to medium heat, stirring occasionally. Continue cooking until the apples pieces are soft and mushy. This takes about 30 minutes.
  5. Stir in brown sugar and mix well. Here you can mash by hand (think potato masher) or you can use an immersion mixer, or blender)
Recipe Notes
