Haiti Relief - What About Our Own?
I'm really happy everyone is so giving to the Haitian people. It is good to see celebrities, politicians, and the good ol'e regular civilians get out there and make sure we're giving a helping hand.
What about our own though? What about those we first dishonored and then promised we'd watch out for them? What about those that have not (be it by their own issues or unforeseen circumstances)? Why can't we rise to those occasions within our own boarders?
Oh by all means, let's protect the boarder! Don't let any "undesirables" in! Give me a break!!
Let's try sending some of that aid here to our OWN people! To those of us in need in our OWN country! Don't know where to begin?
