So, everyone wants to know about the new job. 

What can I tell you?  I’m really liking it so far.  I’m looking forward to all the travel.  Was funny today as the guys and I were talking about places to eat, go, hotels, airlines, cities, and various other related travel thoughts.  Was nice to hear some places I’ve been to have not changed that much and others places have drastically.

My excitement currently comes from the need to “get out of Dodge” as it were.  My first day on the job was moved up a week and a half at their request.  Guess it was a good thing I was walked out when I gave my two week notice.  Surprising yes, but turns out okay.  So yesterday, my first day, I was given access to our travel site and set up flight and hotel information for all next week, the following week, and the week after that!  DC is the first stop and I’m looking forward to it! 

Here’s to hoping that those I didn’t get to say goodbye to don’t think I was being a  butt head!
